Are proud to announce that the next international Congress will be held in Cyprus from Saturday September 27th to Tuesday September 30th.
The Congress is generously supported financially by the Cyprus government and has the full backing of the minister of Health Mr Christos Patsalides.
Aims of the Congress:
In addition to the wider aims of the WHBA, this Congress has the following specific aims:
1. To bring the latest advances in research in medicine to the medical community of Cyprus in order to improve the health of the Cypriot population.
2. To promote links between doctors and scientists from the expatriate community and between them and their colleagues in Cyprus in order to generate fruitful collaborative research links.
3. To stimulate awareness and solution of pressing medical matters of public health concern that impact the health and welfare of the Cypriot population.
Participation:
There are two categories of participants.
1. Invited participants and speakers. Invited participants and speakers will be taking an active part in the Congress and will be selected for their expertise and its relevance to the aims of the Congress. Their expenses within Cyprus will be met by the Congress.
2. Other participants. We welcome as many non-invited participants to come to the Congress as possible so as to enhance the quality of the networking that is one of the main aims of the meeting.

There are no concurrent sessions. It is expected that all registrants will attend every session. Each session will be approximately 1.5hrs long and will have 3 to 4 speakers and opportunities for discussion.
We welcome suggestions for sessions and speakers.
