This series, since its inception, has received the support of the World Hellenic Biomedical Association and every one of these meetings, has been placed under the auspices of the Association.

The aim of the World Hellenic Biomedical Association is to promote clinical, scientific and educational excellence in Greece and the Hellenic Diaspora.

This series of Updates and Postgraduate Seminars are intended to bring together experts from the UK, Greece and its neighbouring countries, to review developments in Gastroenterology and to promote postgraduate training and research among Greek gastroenterologists and surgeons and promote links with the medical fraternity of the Hellenic Diaspora.
