Peter is Reader in Molecular Virology at the Department of Medicine, St Mary’s Hospital Campus, Imperial College London.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences.

He is the current European Editor of the Journal of Viral Hepatitis and Ex-President of the Hellenic Medical Society of Britain.
